Eva Salina may be from NYC (by way of Santa Cruz CA) - but she's one of the world's finest vocal interpreters of Balkan music traditions, with a particular passion for vintage Romani popular songs from former Yugoslavia.

On Sudbina, her new album with accordionist Peter Stan, Eva interprets the songs of late great Serbian Roma singer Vida Pavlovic.

Eva and Peter celebrate the album's release with an intimate show at Greenwich House, 46 Barrow St in the West Village on Thursday night March 29th. And they'll be at St. Ann's Church in Brooklyn Heights on Saturday night April 7th as part of the three-day Brooklyn Folk Festival.
